SNP TO FREEZE WATER BILLS
SCOTTISH WATER WILL BE SAFE AND SERVING SCOTLAND WITH THE SNP
A re-elected SNP Government will freeze water bills for two years and keep Scottish Water safe in public hands.
SNP Finance Secretary John Swinney today (Saturday) confirmed that the SNP will ensure water bills do not rise for the next two years giving further help to hard pressed families. |

The SNP will this weekend up the pressure on the Tory Government as the party launches a campaign to speak up for Scotland’s motorists and businesses demanding the Tories and LibDems fulfil their pre-election promises and cut fuel duty.
A new campaign leaflet published today (Saturday) will highlight the SNP support for a fuel duty stabiliser to be introduced by Westminster or for powers over fuel duty to be transferred to the Scottish Parliament. |

Despite the billions of pounds being cut from Scotland's budget over the coming years by the London Government, the SNP Government has actually managed to increase health service budgets for the coming financial year.
Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon announced that a record £11.4 billion will be spent on the health service in 2011/12.
Resource funding for health has increased by £280 million, delivering in full the Scottish Government's commitment to pass on the Barnett consequentials to the NHS. The NHS regional health boards will receive the biggest increase, reflecting the government's pledge to protect patient care and frontline services.
